Upcoming July wishlist

Last month I done one of these wishlists for June so I thought I would try one for July. We are now in the summer holidays there are lots of things I would love to purchase for these holidays.

1) Mac blusher - This mac shade is called 'something special' I loved this shade when I visited the Mac shop a couple of weeks ago around the time of my birthday. While I was in the shop I got given a free makeover and this was the shade they put on me. I loved how it looked really natural against my skin tone and wasn't too bright. This blusher is a cream blusher, i prefer them to powder blushes as i find them easier to apply. With every cream blusher i have bought i have always used it as a lip colour to, it usually always looks really nice. This shade can be bought on the mac website for £17.50 and i really hope to buy it soon. I already have the foundation and some eyeshaddows so hopefully this will add to my collection.
2) flowery summery bag - This bag is £6 in matalan I think it is really pretty and summery and will be a really nice summer bag. It would also make an ideal beach bag as it is a tidy size. Summer time i am often looking for bags to go with various outfits and i think that bag will go with a lot.

3) Iphone cover - this phone cover is in the claire's accessories sale for £4. I don't really have many phone covers and i should really invest in some more as i'm always dropping my phone and it does help to protect them.
4) river island pattern dress £20 - I LOVE the pattern and colours on this dress, its a bit different to the usual flowery pattern that i go for. The colours are pretty to and i think it would be a lovely dress to go out in for the summer.
5) Pajamas - One of my all time fave things to buy is pajamas. I have LOADS of pairs :) my favourite places to buy them from are primark, asda and la senza. I find these have the comfiest materials. These pajamas are in the sale in asda from £10 to £6. They are ideal for the summer because they are shorts. plus i think that dopey from snow white is really cute, and he is the character on them.
6) pattern shoes, tesco £7. I think that these shoes will look really nice with shorts and a vest top. They look like they would be comfy to wear and will be pretty. In the summer months i do a lot of walking and go out lots with friends. These shoes would probably be ideal for doing this. Plus i own lots that would probably be nice with them.

7) Swimsuit - For ages now i have been looking for a pretty swimming costume and have been really struggling, the prettier swimwear always seems to be bikini's. I really don't feel comfortable in a bikini so i was really happy when i found this. This swimming costume is from debenhams and it is £28.50 its in the sale down from £38. It is from the designer butterfly by matthew williamson. I like the colour of the costume and although the picture isnt very clear there are actually really small pictures of parrots on it. I think this is really pretty and although the price is quite high i wouldnt mind paying it as i love swimming, it is one of my favourite hobbies.
8) I love the bright colours in these sunglasses, these are from topshop and they are £16. Most of my sunglasses i buy from primark which are the offer ones for £1. I suppose you get what you pay for and for me they always seem to snap. So i thought that this year i would actually buy a pair of expensive ones for a change.

9) During the summer i am hoping to spend lots of time with my boyfriend. We both enjoy watching films together and i have heard lots of good reviews about 'the vow.' When this film was in the summer i was really hoping to see it, but at the time i had a lack of money (around the time of my boyfriends birthday) and i also had a lot of college work. We both want to see this film. It is meant to be a tearjerker but I do love a romantic film. This is £10 on amazon. Has anybody else seen this film? if so was it any good?
10) I am a HUGE twilight fan. I don't know why I don't own this DVD yet, it must be the longest i have waited to buy a twilight film. When this film was in the cinema i went to see it 3 times, once with my best friend, then with my boyfriend, then with a group of friends. It was so brilliant, i can't wait to own this on DVD! Also i cant wait till the 2nd part comes out later in the year. Every year me and my best friend Alex have a tradition where we book the tickets in advance and go and watch it together, this year we will continue that tradition. I will own this DVD VERY soon because i shall be buying it tomorrow, it is £6 on amazon.

Thankyou for reading :) :).

Summer time goals!

I got my inspiration to do this post from my best friend Alex England, she has set up her own personal goals for the next month. I thought it would be a nice idea to set myself some for the summer.

1) For the next 6 weeks try to drink the recommended 8 glasses of water daily. I am doing slimming world and although with that you can drink all diet drinks i think it would be more beneficial and healthy to drink water. Plus drinking water is brilliant for the skin, which is a added bonus.

2) Loose weight, on August 10th I am going to be in a lady Gaga tribute show. This will mean me having to dance in front of roughly 500 people. I would like to loose hopefully over a stone by then. I have already lost 3 stone over these past few months, hopefully I can continue to lose more.

3) Save up money. Last year I spent quite a lot of money summertime, this year I would like to start saving in advance and making my money last longer doing all the things I would like to do. I am hoping to go to the zoo, go to a theme park, go on lots of nice meals and enjoy all of this with my friends & family. I'd love to be able to know I can do all of this without having to worry about money. This week I will also be booking a holiday so it would be nice to be able to save towards that, which will probably be in August time.

4) Finish reading the fifty shades of grey book series. These books are well worth the buy! I am just over half way through the first book. I have been loving relaxing in the bath reading them giving me some time out. I am now going to be able to enjoy reading these a lot more because I have now finished my college course, I had an overall distinction!!!!!! I was so happy with my result. So yes now I will be able to finally sit down and enjoy reading these.

5) Stop biting my nails and get a manicure/get them painted nicely. I absolutely hate the fact that I have got the disgusting habit of biting my nails. So far I have been really good with this and havent bitten them for a few days now, im just hoping to keep this up and not bite them anymore. I am engaged and i would love to get my nails all nicely manicured so that my ring looks really pretty on my fingers. Plus i have got a nailart kit which i would love to use these summer months so i can do my nails with pretty summery designs. Wish me luck in braking this habit. Has anyone got any good tips to help people from biting their nails?

6) Start eating my 5 a day. I know i have been doing a lot of goals about health but lately i have started to become a bit of a health freak. There are loads of benefits to eating 5 a day such as nails and hair growing (which i mentioned my nails in the goal above), great skin, helps to boost weight loss which i also mentioned above, helps to build up a immunity to infections such as the flu. They are just a few of the benefits there are loads more. So I am going to TRY to eat my 5 a day. Maybe I will finally dig out the smoothie maker that I have in the house to encourage myself to do this. If I do make smoothies I will be posting about that.

Thankyou for reading :)  I will keep updating about how I get on with these goals.

My friend Niamah's 18th birthday/leaving party

I haven't been on here in a few days because my week has been super busy! it seems to be everyone's birthday in the month of June, this week it has been Niamah's, my mothers and my friends Ashlee and Naomi's. This post is about my friend Niamah's birthday, it was a night to remember! We went to swansea dressed up in service costumes (sailor, nurse, referee etc) We went on a Wednesday because its student night in swansea which mean that all drinks are either 70p or 80p, you have got to pay to go into clubs but it was only about £1 - £2. The bus took us there at 8 o'clock and we had the bus back at half 2 in the morning, it was a brilliant night!
The night was special because as well as it being her 18th birthday, it is also her leaving party because she is moving from Wales to Australia. It is going to be sad to see her go, but it will be an amazing opportunity for her.

This is my costume, I went dressed as a nurse. The costume was meant to be £28, but it had a small rip on the bodice of the dress so we ended up getting it for £20 and sewing the bodice.

This is me, niamah and lauren on the pole haha! Niamah is the one on the right in the sailor costume, she is the birthday girl. Lauren is in the middle and i'm on the left. We LOVED that pole, and danced on it for ages, it was actually really fun!

My friend lauren came home with me after Swansea and spent the night in mine, we watched mean girls and ate a load of crappy food, it was fun! This is a picture of all the stamps and wrist bands we had from going into different clubs! We went into loads of different clubs , my favourite was called odyssey which the drinks were only 70p in, it was quite quiet but a brilliant atmosphere.

This is me and Niamah, i think she had a brilliant birthday with all of her friends there to celebrate it with her, she dressed up as a sailor. Although throughout the night she decided she could look a bit like a pilot so she was a sailor/pilot! Niamah is 10 days younger than me and although she moved away from where i live 9 years ago, we always make sure that we send each other birthday wishes.

I know this has been a short post but we didn't really take many photos because there was alchohol involved so we were busy having a good time. I wanted to write a post on this because Niamah will be missed loads when she goes to Australia and im very glad that she had such a brilliant night!
Thank-you for reading!

My top 10 beauty favourites!

I love beauty products, I seem to always be buying them. So I thought I would do a post on some of my top 10 favourite items at the moment, all these items I would 100% reccomend buying :)
1) Body shop cocoa butter 2) Soap & glory breakfast scrub 3) Mac foundation 4) Mac eyeshaddows
5) Caffeine shampoo 6) Botanics bubble bath 7) Burts bees deep cleanser 8) Satin pure exfoliating pads 9) Lipstick 10) Roc stretch mark cream

Body shop cocoa butter - I really love this cocoa butter, I have tried a lot of cocoa butters in the past but this is by far the best. It is really good for applying to your legs after shaving, it keeps them smoother for longer. Also i use it on my stretch marks, and it does definetely make a difference. At the moment this is £5 from the body shop, and it can be bought online.
Soap and glory breakfast scrub - This is a brilliant exfoliator, I use it often. It leaves my skin feeling really smooth It also has a really lovely smell to it, I am a huge fan of all things soap & glory! You can buy this from boots £9.50

Mac foundation - I had this foundation bought for me for my birthday its £28 and its well worth the money! In the mac shop they applied some colours to me and found me the exact colour that matches my skin. I love this foundation because it can be used on the face and the body. It also blends in really nicely with my skin colour.
Mac eyeshaddows - I had this eye shaddow pallete for christmas, its from the hello kitty range of mac products. One side of the pallete has bright colours and the other has browns and lighter colours.
The picture in the middle shows me with the makeup on, its not a very good picture and my hair looks terrible!

Alpecin caffeine shampoo - I LOVE LOVE LOVE this shampoo I honestly only used it once and i seen a result it even helped with my split ends! It has a really nice smell to it, and made my hair feel lovely and smooth! A couple of years ago i had alopecia and since then i have had trouble with my hair weakening, this has helped to get it stronger! If anyone has trouble with their hair growing, this is the shampoo to buy! I'm very pleased with it!
Botanics bubble bath - At the minute my college work has been getting very stressful, and there has honestly been nothing better than relaxing in a lovely bubble bath! This is from the boots botanics range its £4.19 and although it is expensive bubble bath, it is well worth the money! It smells gorgeous! If anyone needs some de-stressing bubble bath, then i would definetely reccomend this.

Burts bees soap bark and chamomile deep cleansing cream -  I had this from a gift set that i had at christmas time, i have only recentely started to use it and it is lovely. It smells stunning and it leaves skin feeling really soft. It helps to remove any makeup left on the face too, which is a bonus! You can buy this on amazon for £8.50.
Satin pure exfoliating hair removal pads - These pads really help to get your skin feeling lovely and soft after shaving. Any prickly bits that can sometimes come after shaving, they get rid of. Theyre brilliant exfoliators and i use them all the time! Theyre really cheap too, £2.39 on amazon, bargain!

Primark red lipstick -  I own loads & loads of lipsticks, in lots of different colours. Recentely i have been looking for a red one that isn't too bright. I was thrilled then to find this one in primark for only £1 ONE POUND! I was really happy with this, and I'm really really happy with this purchase. I also like the pretty spotty design on the case.

Roc stretch mark cream - This is the best stretch mark cream i have used. For a couple of years now i have had stretch marks and i am very self consious about them, i have tried loads and loads of products. This has definetely made a difference. This can be bought in lots of places i had in on an offer when i went to visit my auntie in North Wales, but i know that amazon has it and boots shops do too. This apparantly can also be used on scarring.

My 18th birthday

Birthday celebrations
On the 7th June I finally turned 18!! it was such a amazing day, im greatful for everyone there who made it as special as it was.

Here is my baby sister Eve and my mothers best friends baby Adam, handing me by birthday presents. (yes i am in a nighty and havent long woken up as can clearly be seen haha) they look so sweet though :)

These pictures are taken by my balloons. Behind me is my favourite balloon which has a champagne bottle inside it, i love it! My dress is from new look, i think it was £28. On the left is a picture of me and my boyfriend, we have been together for nearly a year and a half, i love him loads :)

For my birthday i decided to have a jacuzzi party, on the day i faced a major problem which was the weather. Luckily we had planned for this and bought a marquee, so the day was not ruined. I had 14 friends over. We all went in the jacuzzi and then we ordered a chinese, since it was my 18th there was also lethal quantities of alcohol involved! The party also involved a wii karaoke and just dance 3, it was really fun, I would love to do it all over again if i could!

Although its not the best of pictures it shows how nice my decorations were, i was really pleased with my balloons and banners i thought they were all lovely! :) A lot of effort went into decorating the house!

I adored my birthday cake! I was so devestated when i actually had to cut it! I had the cake made by a friend of the family who owns her own shop called 'siany's cupcakes'. She done a brilliant job! The cake is in the shape of a jacuzzi, the bubbles were all balls of icing. All around the cake are m&m's which are my fave chocolate! i had a stand of cupcakes underneath with chocolate and vanilla buttercream icing! LUSH!

Here are only some of my birthday presents, along with all of this i had LOADS of makeup and clothes, aswell as a ticket to the summertime ball in Wembley (I will be doing a post on that soon). I was indeed VERY spoilt on this birthday, i am so greatful! i never expected people to buy me so much, everything was so lovely :)
This photo is actually taken on a king size bed haha! so yeah it will a lot of wonderful presents!

Special gifts that i recieved
Although everything that i had off people for my birthday was very special i had a few things off some people who are very close to me, that do mean a awful lot to me. So i thought i would say a bit about these things.

These presents are off my boyfriend, he bought me so many things but these 2 mean the most. The necklace is special because a week before my birthday i pointed it out and told him how much I liked it, i really didnt expect that he would buy it because i knew how much he had already bought. He did buy it though and i absolutely love it. Its got a little real silver heart inside, and crystals all around it, I think it is so pretty. The teddy is from the bear factory. Four days after my birthday my boyfriend took me shopping and told me i could buy something that i really wanted, when  i went into the bear factory i couldnt resist that little rabbit. It is called Casey, it even came with a birth certificate. Me and Andrew had a lovely day shopping, it was perfect, he even took me for a meal bless him! :)

This ring i had off my grandparents i love it! its clogau gold, which is a rare welsh gold. I am intending on collecting more clogau gold pieces. I think this ring is beautiful, the sides contain real crystals, the clogau is in the centre of the heart. This ring is probably the most expensive piece of jewellery i own, and 1 of the most special things i own. It meant the world to me when they bought it for me. I hope to collect more pieces over the years. Does anyone else own any clogau gold?

These presents I had off my mother and my baby sister (who is 1 years old). I love the 18 wine glass because i think the glittery detail on it is so pretty. It was different to any of the other glasses i had seen. The key is really special to my because there is a little tag on the side of it which says "Abbie my big sister" then on the other side it says "love you lots Eve x" i think they are both such pretty keepsake gifts.

I had this bracelet off my father, I've wanted a charm bracelet in a while and i think that this its gorgeous. I was also really happy with it because usually my step mother will help him to pick my gifts, and he picked this on his own so i know he put a lot of thought into picking it. The charms that are on it are colourful beads and inbetween each set of bead he has put a meaningful charm. He has put charms saying June (the month i was born in), a 'daughter' charm, a cupcake charm (i love making cakes), a 18 charm, and an 'A' charm for my name. I really do love this bracelet i am planning on getting some more pretty charms for it, maybe for special occasions.

I would like to finish this by saying how greatful i was to everyone who helped to make my birthday special for me, i had such a wonderful day and beautiful gifts, thankyou!!
